Jesus spoke of His death as “glorification” – John 12:28, 33. Also 13:31. Then He said we believers “never see death”- John 8:51 & 11:26. We have really died when we have entered by faith into our co-death with Him: 2 Cor. 5:14 & Col. 3:3 etc. So why talk about our body death as death? Paul called it something different in 2 Cor. 5: 1-4. And we are already glorified - John 17:22 and Rom. 8:30. Don’t attempt to reason about it, just believe and accept it, and then use words of praise and faith. Of course we are already – in spirit – members of His glorified body and have already come to Mt. Sion – Heb. 12:22-24.|
Of course death is not body-death, that is just Paul’s 2 Cor. 5 sloughing off corruptible awaiting the incorruptible – 1 Cor. 15; and real death disappeared for us in Christ and we are with Him in Him in the resurrection.
